Keep Give Move ("the app") helps a household catalogue its belongings and decide what to keep, give away, or move. This policy explains what the app stores, who helps us process it, and how to have your data deleted. We've tried to keep it plain and accurate.

What we store

• The things you enter — item names, categories, notes, conditions, weights, prices, box and room labels, and the keep / give / sell / move decisions you make.
• Photos you take of your items.
• Voice memos, if you choose to record one for an item.
• Your email address, used to sign you in.

Your photos and voice memos are kept in private, per-household storage — they are not public and are not shared with other households.

How your information is used

• To run the app — storing your inventory and syncing it between the devices in your household.
• To sign you in — we send a one-time code to your email. Email delivery is handled by Resend.
• To identify an item — when you tap Identify, the photos of that item are sent through our server to an AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes the request to the underlying AI model) solely to read what the item is and suggest details back to you. We record that a request happened — the household, the time, which model was used, token counts, and whether it succeeded — to measure usage. We do not attach your name, email, or the photo itself to that usage record.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — hosts our database and the private storage where your photos and voice memos live (United States region).
• Resend — sends your sign-in code emails.
• OpenRouter and the AI model it routes to — receive item photos only when you use Identify, only to return an identification.

We use these providers to operate the app. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and the app contains no third-party analytics or tracking.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you use the app. Items you delete are held briefly in a recoverable state (so an accidental deletion can be undone) and then removed.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it at any time. Email support@keepgivemove.com and we will remove your data from our database and storage.

Children

Keep Give Move is a tool for managing a household's belongings and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles your data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
